Which release? Help me.

Guys...I needs to get a new release. Something that feels solid in my hand with a smooth touch.

I use an 8 year old Free Flight Release like this one shown.

I really like the glove releases. I like the solid form that I can hold in my palm. All the new releases just seem so chinsy to me. I know it would be an adjustment.

Your thoughts? What do you use and why?

I use a target release (Carter Just-B-Cuz)....because I know I'm more accurate with it. I just keep it locked onto my D-loop....and it's always ready.

The Scott line is hard to beat, too.

I use the Scott Silverhorn and I can honestly say I don't ever think I'll go back to using a double caliper THe silverhorn is so smooth and easy to hook up to a D-loop. Try one, you'll prob like it.

I use a Short @ Sweet II by Tru Ball and I feel it is ONE of the best hunting releases on the market, heck,I have even shot some of my best 3-d scores with it.

My Free Flight is still going strong after 8 seasons, I have thought about changing but it's still working fine.

YUP, I went from years of Double caliper to the Scott Lil Goose and the when I bought the Guardian I tried the Silverhorn. It's so easy to hook on the loop in the worst of light conditions or whatever. Just start below the loop, slide up the string feeling with you thumb and when you hit the loop it's on. I was worried at first about maybe having it come off but found that not to be a problem. If he likes the glove types.... he's probably not ready for a change to something like the Silverhorn. Me, I love it and it's so smooth and perfect.

I have had my free flight for ages. And I love it. The only thing that I don't like about it is the fact that it makes it realy hard to use that hand while it is on. But the advantages are way better then the down falls. I won't buy another release. I love this thing!
