Pics of my Thanksgiving Buck

On Thansgiving Day I ventured out to pursue a buck that I had seen the previous day. Early in the morning I spotted him chasing does near a deep draw. He picked a doe and began to pester her. She wanted to leave the area but he kept turning her back towards the draw. After I watched him do this twice I decided to slip in the draw and sneak up the opposite side and hope they would come back one more time. I found a cut in the rim rock and slowly eased high enough to see if they were still there. I spotted one doe at 60 yards but no buck. Shortly thereafter a doe came running in and right behind her was the buck. She walked along the edge of the draw and spotted me when she was at 25 yards. The buck remained at 50.5 yards. She turned to walk away and the buck began to follow. I came to full draw, the doe blew and he stopped broadside looking my way. My PSE X Force sent a razor sharp Wac'em Triton head his way and found its mark. The buck traveled a short distance before expiring. 153"

Hope this is not too silly of a question, but can somebody tell me what the word "draw" means in this story???

This is my second season of hunting, and I am definitely still learning.

Thanks.

(By the way, nice deer.)
:)

What we call a draw in our part of the country is similiar to a small valley or a coulee. This particular draw was out in the open and had hardwoods throughout it withhay fields on its edges.
