My bow season will be.....
 

dramatically cut back from here on out...after the past 2 weeks of going during the week and only seeing 2 does it has taken a toll on me....the rut was really non existent in my area it seemed...when it did hit, it was hot and I think it was mostly done at night...the last 2 weeks have been also gun season, which means deer hounds as well, and well......it kinda puts a damper on the whole moving during day light hrs thing... I did not see much in the way of chasing other than about 2 days worth last week and a little bit this week...more like one morning and one afternoon.. now the gun season and hounds are in full affect, i will bow hunt the 2 small peices I lease where dogs don't go about 1 or 2 times a week and hope to hit the second rut and i may have a trip to the mts in Decwhere dogs can't be run...but over all, it's pretty much done...sad to see it over...I hope everyone has had the season they hoped for, I didn't, but it still wasn't all that bad, I didn't kill a big buck like I hoped, but it don't happen every year for most of us...I will shotgun hunt every weekend from here out, maybe i can smack one with that beast!!
