Any of you folks who like reading about Africa, Peter Hathaway Capstick has some great books. He is an excellent writer.

For any of you who DON'T have any interest in Africa, give his books a read and at least live vicariously through them.

NJ..All I'm saying is thatthe "fair chase" we know, does not exist down there.

My friends wife is Native South African. Her family runs(not owns) an outfitter/guide service down there. My buddy has been, a few times...There is no "fair chase", no "public land".
No public land is an entire different arguement than no fair chase.I cant comment personaly about Africa cause i havent been there, yet, but i have friends who have been there a numberof times and absolutely love it. They have done thehighfence and the low fence stuff. Like Christine said, most ofafricas highfence stuff isthousands upon thousands of acres. To say that there is no "fair chase" in this is alittle nieve IMO, but that is an entirely different thread.
