Meat is in the freezer. Feell good about that. Life is about living and learning. And it appears this deer did not feel a thing, so the death was not cruel, no need to sweat it. Congrates on the deer and I bet that youngun will eat real well.

yeah i had a buck dodge an arrow completely at 25 yards and another later in the season this year dodge one around 40 yards. they are so alert and fast!!

Lighten up naysayers. OH made a hell of a shot. Deer move, thats what they do. Nothin' we can do about it. Fortunate enough she didn't spin the other way. Too bad you didn't get the double. Eat 'em up.

Lesson learned. Pick up the pieces, eat well and move on. A seriously HUGE "atta boy" for sharing the learningexperience with everyone else, especially given how brutal a beating some can take on here for similar posts. Way to go Doug!
