i would not really consider a robinhood true if its with carbon arrows. aluminum is the real deal to me
By that logic, cedar arrows should really be your thing.

Fourty yards is my furthest "I'm going to robinhood your arrow," shot.

Thirty was my longest accidental robinhood.

I rarely shoot groups enough anymore to consistently/frequently break nocks and tear fletching up.

I have done it a few times at 30.

I have never done it. I learned a long time ago to not shoot groups. Busted nocks, dented arrows, and ruined fletchings taught me to aim at different points.

But beware if you come to shoot with me:D

I have never robin hooded my own arrow. Busted a lot of nocks, but I no longer shoot groups.

I have robin hooded two of my buddies arrows on purpose though, from 20[8D]

I have done it by coincidence at 35 yards.

I have done it on purpose at 25 yards. More than once.

I have never robinhooded an arrow, but i had a buddy that was using one of my arrows at a 3D shoot one day. On one target, we had to shoot at it from 2 different angles, and he took one angle and I took the other one. He shot first, then me. When we walked up to the target, I had sent my arrow right through the arrow that he had shot....also my arrow.....it was a perfect cross, and it perfectly split the arrow in the middle........It's going to be a while before I do that again....lol
