My first year bowhunting, I missed 4 inside of 20 minutes. That's the day I learned the "check your equipment often" lesson. I didn't know it at the time, but my rest was broken. Since then, I've killed.......oh, I don't know exactly, but around 15 deer with my bow and missed 2 others.

i've missed two deer both this year and within 10 minutes of each other
first one hit a limb i didn't see, and the second i'll attribute to buck fever didn't set on the correct pin and shot under him.
still a rookie at this bow hunting thing, only my second full year getting out with a bow

Been only bowhunting for 8 years now, and have my share of misses. Unfortunately, I've got a couple of "hit but never recovered animals as well".

Yup....Missed a few here....I haven't in about 4-5 years now so I'm on kind of a roll (knocks on wood) but it's bound to happen sooner or later. I had one where I couldn't even find my arrow......to this day I have no clue where it went.
