I've never missed with my 270. I know we're not talking about that but it's a precursor. Never missing with the 270 brought me to bowhunting... where my overall record is well, embarrassing. But, since I only look at the good in all things, (
) this year I am 5 deer for 6 arrows released. #6 deflected off a branch and sailed over the doe's back.

just b/c you think your arrow deflected and miss, dont just assume you purely missed. i would have never even thought that i hit that buck until i picked up my arrow with blood on it!
as far as missing goes... ive done mine and im sure i havent had my last lol! i am 3for3 this year though so its been a good year
Ive actually missed the same deer twice once. bottom limb smacked my stand. after that i got another shot and the nerves got me and i overshot it completely.

I have always managed to hit something.
Like over the week end I clean missed 2 hogs but did manage to hit the dirt
This was with the long bow.
With the compound and sights what ever I put the pin on died
