I've shot at one deer with my bow, I missed.

I missed one doe with the bow (first) and then I lost (wounded) a nice buck in Illinois. The past two years have lead to two shots and two recoveries, and I am 3/5 overall. Not a record I am proud of yet, I want 33/35 or so

You might want use some of your perfectionist skills while making your posts.
You just posted in another thread it was 11 years of hunting and never missed. Now it is 13 years with no miss? How did you gain 2 more years in a thread you posted in this year?

its amazing how you can sit in your backyard and shoot the bullseye out at 40 yards and then have a deer out there at 25 yards and smooth miss, but it happens. Wish it didn't happen to me as often. As far as number, if you miss the same doe 2 times in a row does that count as one or two misses.
