Nope, I certainly don`t mind.

It is their show, and if I don`t like what is on a show, I still control the remote.

BTW, I like the Adventure Bound shows.:D

I do not know if I would necessarily say that I " mind" it...since it is their show and they can talk about whatever they want. I ultimately have the choice to change the channel if I want to. It is one thing to have the host say something like " I thank God for my good fortune" and another thing, in my mind, for him to be quoting Genesis for 5 minutes regarding the nature of man and beast...;)

Wow Im glad the poll is 100 % . When Im out enjoying creation its allways good to give credit where credit is due . God did a wounderfull job creating the woods I have been in and I love just being abel to see it and take part in it . Think of all the city dwellers that never even see the woods , what a shame .

I do kinda mind it, but I also just can change the channel. My problem is that it' s a hunting show not a religious show, talk about hunting not about god. I have a problem with the way some christian try and convert everyone and I feel that is the jist of what a show like adventure bound outdoors is doing. I no longer watch that show because of that very reason. I don' t in any way mind when the host of Better Built' s world of hunting ( or something like that ) says may god bless you as he has me. To me that' s not preachy and I don' t feel like someone is telling I' m wrong and goin' burn in hell. Anyway just my two cents...

trailblazer, not only do I not mind, I really respect the outdoor shows that talk about God , because He' s the one responsible for the great outdoors and the animals we hunt!! so why not give the credit to the almighty!!
BTW- that show' s home base is in Hot springs Ar. about 100 miles from my house.
I' m proud of those folks.;)

We can enjoy hunting because God gave us the animals, the earth and the ability to do so.
I can see that some people do not want to be preached to though...it' s a personal decision for them.

I don' t mind. Of course, I don' t watch hunting shows or TV for that matter. I had rather be outside DOING IT. I had rather see what God made than here someone tell me about it.

Hunt when you can, fish the rest of the time but always save Sunday for the LORD!!!

I think it it is fine. I also think that most hunters come from a fairly religous background. Most of us learned to hunt from our fathers and I beleive that most fathers that spend Quality time with thier children, at least believe in God and pass thier beliefs on to us as well. Besides, how can you spend a day in the woods and not believe in God.

To answer your question I must ask you one. Would it bother you if a Monk, American Indian............Cant think of any more right off hand........... were shairing their faith on the show?
You say Yes, then my answer is it should not be done.
Shairing ones faith is a two way street. If you wish to have a show and then add your ideas on faith then it should be open to all faiths.
I know some of you will disagree with what I have said but I dont feel that any one church has all or even any of the answers.
The showing of the hunt with the animals and the woods or country shows what God has made. Why not just let him speak for himself. If we were to stop talking and start listening we might learn somthing, and i' m not talking about that guy on tv.
God created all things, Man s----d them all up.

I really don' t care who they want to thank, be it God, The ranch where they hunt, or joe blow down the street. I do however get a little tired of the religious stuff when they turn it form thanking God to Sunday morning church on T.V. If I really wanted to listen to someone praising the Lord and so on and so on then I would set my T.V. to that chanel.

I am glad when anybody mentions our God. Interesting observation about those whom it seems to bother. Why? I wonder if its their concious? We are all made with a God shaped vacumn in our hearts. Some try to fill it with drugs' alcohol,sex, work,toys,ect.It always amazes me what people will tolerate in conversation until it comes to the subject of God.Nobody that spends time in Gods great outdoors can deny that we have a creator and all of us should praise him for it.

No, I dont mind. It is their show. If they want to base it on hunting and God, that is fine with me. I will watch.

It' s good to see hunting combined with thanks to God done in a tasteful manner.

If I didnt want to see or hear about God during their show, all I have to do is change the station or turn off the TV.

Doesnt bother me one bit. Of course if they wanted to show scantilly clad women bowhunting that wouldnt bother me either. How about we combine the two. THE SCANTILLY CLAD BOWHUNTING WOMEN FOR GOD HUNTING SHOW. I think thats a good compromise.

Not only do I NOT mind, I' m GLAD to hear them thank God for their good fortune since HE IS THE ONE RESPONSIBLE. The reason I picked a truball release was because of their reference to God on their packaging.

I don' t have a bit of a problem with it. I personally believe in God but I am not an extremest by any means. If just one person finds God from their efforts it' s worth it. If it gets too much for my tastes I can always change the channel.

Truth be known, I stopped watching hunting shows quite some time ago. Way to commercialized for me.
