Cold Weather Gloves and thermals

Can anyone recommend a good set of cold weather gloves for me? I usually have a hand muff around my waist with handwarmers in it.I can't stand "puffy" big traditional cold weather gloves. It just doesn't work with holding my bow and release. What is a good pair of gloves that are tighter fitting and do a good job keeping the finger warm?

Also, are those Underarmor 3.0 (2.0, 1.0) Extreme Weather Base thermals worth the money if anyone has used them?

If you don't mind the price, you might look at Sitka Traverse gloves but they are around $50. The are a good mix of warmth without too much bulk.

I've always used Cabelas polartec thermals and am happy. I hate the cold.

That's what I do for my hands when I hunt up north. I won't shoot my bow with gloves on. I have both UA and Cabela's Polar Tech, which is very warm.;)

Lost in Woods,

I just wrote this in another post, but if you don't mind the $50 price tag, check out Gray Wolf Woolens website and look at the Wool Mitts. They have a slitwhere you can pull your entire hand threw when you need to....but the rest of the time they keep your hands incredibly warm!
