This buck is reported to have been taken by Roger Jarvis and is a pending B&C World's Record at 319.

The current World's Record non-typical whitetail deer was found in St. Louis County, Missouri in 1981 and was entered by the Missouri Department of Conservation on behalf of the citizens of Missouri. It scores 333-7/8 B&C.

I can't believe some of the bucks being put down this season. That thing is just huge.

Hopefully, it was a wild deer and not a grown buck. I'd like to see it break the old record. Records are made to be broken, and if it was a wild deer, we may see that happen.

Good point. Many of the genetically altered bucks from deer farms being 'harvested' by hunters in high-fence settingsget posted on the internet only to find out later they were not infact fair chase.
Outsmarting a wild whitetail buck is the hunt. Simply wrapping your hands around the antlers of a buck taken via your checkbook is not.

When I first saw the picture I thought high fence I guess just a natural reaction but I'm from NOMO and I haven't heard of any high fences up here and also for Boone and Crockett to ahve it on there website must mean something
