Bow Hunting Code of Conduct
I have noticed that there are times when we don't agree on here and eventually someone makes a personal attack on another. Therefore, I am making an attempt to set a standard. Here it is:
BOW HUNTING CODE OF CONDUCT I am a bow hunter. I live within the brotherhood where we get close to our prey and have a personal relationship with them. My standards are high and I believe in the quick and ethical end to the animals I stalk. I may not agree with the ideas of other bow hunters, but I will not personally attack those who are other members of this brotherhood. When in disagreement, I will make my point and if we don’t see eye to eye, I will acknowledge that we agree to disagree and leave it at that. |

Mark, while I totally agree with that, I think it's most unrealistic based on a lot of what I've seen right here. Wouldn't it be nice though?

Coop I agree wholeheartedly. Opinions are like...well you know. And we all need to stick together and fight off the real enemies...those yahoo's coming into the white house and the anti-hunting community.

It's already flying hard and needs to stop. We're here to support each other and exchange ideas, not slam each other because we don't agree. Hopefully the 6 that don't agree right now are just joking.

What people seem to fail to understand is, if you are mature and have your mental faculties, there is no reason to get into a name calling or urination match with someone over the internet. The immature people and those who are lacking physicallyare the one's who try to be "tough" on the internet. I have personal impressions ofa fewpeople on here, and those people know deep within their own subconscious that they are nimrods without me having to tell them.
When a nimrod posts something stupid, I usually just read it and say to myself "Self, this guy is a nimrod." and I go onto another thread. |

I knocked a fellow soldier out one time for calling me a nimrod, Had to go back and apologize to him when the CO told me what it ment.
I did not want to, It was not what he said, as much as the way he said it that got him a swollen head! |

I agree most of the people on here and in the real world who are ***holes. Are normaly people who are small and skinny.
I am a big guy right now i am 430 6/5 In highschool i was anywhere from 350 to 400. I am a nice guy i did not go around picking on people. Though knocked a few heads around. 90% of the time it was small skinny guys who thought they need to prove something. When I was young dumb and full of ....pee and vinegar, it didn't take much to set me off. When a person gets in my face and gets stupid, I try to remain calm and not resort to violence. There are times when that is not acceptable. However, if while on a site that is dedicated to something we all enjoy, it is totally unacceptable to go back and forth name calling when we should all be here for the same end. If someone is too immature to do that, maybe they should find another site to rant and rave on or maybe start attending counselling.
