I know isn't that funny! It really does look just like the X- force

RE: Mathews is at it again!

At what again? Are you saying mathews rips off other companies ideas and designs, seem the other way around IMHO. Where did PSE ,martin, parker etc. get the idea for all those single cam bows they make? The xforce is a split limb bow, the new mathews is not I believe, hardly an exact copy as suggested.

This is why I wish bows didnt have brand names on them. So much animosity over a silly sticker.

Yeah the monster does look like the X force. But isnt that the pot calling the kettle black to the fulliest?!?!?

All the other companies have single cam bows, They copy too. All use string stoppers, those evil copiers. All use some kind dampiner. Once again a copy. They all make Parrell limbs now too.

Hope you dont live in a glass house you big copier. Just shoot the bow you like and stop complaining about the competition. IM tired of the Mathews haters, you look like fools with your bows that also have things copied from other companies. PSE didnt event Archery, neither did Mathews, BT or Hoyt, Browning, and so on. Some guy with some stick and string did, he is the one that can talk.

Wait a second I always thought PSE (Pull Shoot Explode) Had the R&D (Research and Duplicate) department[8D]

RE: Mathews is at it again!

Yes, they do look very similar.

However, if you ask my opinion... I think that Pete Shepley owes Matt McPherson one.

Man, people need to lighten up. All bow companies copy each other.

Funny pic.

Yea all companies get ideas from other companies products, but no company other than Mathews claims to be superior in all aspects, and then copies the products their superior from! lol

Anyone notice that those PSE limb pockets look an aweful lot like the 2000 era Hoyt limb pockets? I'm just sayin'...

well then all this proves is that Mathews copied High Country and so did PSE and HOYT and BOWTECH!!!

They may seem to across as the best, but out of all the mods that Mathews have come up with they finally used some one else design, and it wasnt PSE's.

Split limbs were invented by Spencer Land, of High Country Archery.

I don't even let people bother me anymorewho bash other bows just because they don't shoot it. Just like any other industry, if one company comes out with a breakthrough in technology its going to get copied. mathews has been copied before and i'm sure mathewshas copied other companies before.Although it does seem that mathews shooters, such as myself, catch a lotmore hell on this site than other brand shooters. Not sure why, but oh well.

Yeah, I just checked it out on their site ,Ill admit it does look alot like the xforce, now that I look at it closer, pretty silly move on their part IMO, after years of criticizing split limbs and dual cams, but what do I know, Im just a bow hunter, not a marketing guy. (I dont even own a mathews bow)

That said, I hardly think the xforce is very original looking either, fast, I guess, but not all that different than any other split limb dual cam bow, and I defiantly wouldnt say its typical of Mathews to copy another manufacturer's design so closely.

It was a funny picture without a doubt but it is obvious some of you really need to go to www.archeryhistory.com to find out just how many of todays design were started YEARS ago and not by the companies that use them today.;):D

Most of the innovations and new designs we have seen in the last 20 years are direct results of folks trying to get around paying Rex Darlington royalties. And even at that... he still gets them from quite a few of the big names.

Can I say they all started off with round wheels. So the cam design was inevitable. I dont think matthews was the first. So I think matthews doesnt deserve all the hype. The roller guard wasnt even created by matthews. So they took it from someone else.
