A question for all of you picture takers out there.

Is It that damn hard to clean the blood off of your deer and shove the tongue back In It's mouth or cut It off? It's called respect everyone!! Bunny huggers could care less what our picture's look like so It don't really matter what they look like with them. It's the non hunter's that you all have to Impress and show respect to that your all not a bunch of blood thirsty savages. When you take picture's, take the time and think what a non hunter would say If they seen the picture. Have respect, show respect for that animal. It don't take hardly anytime to clean an animal up for picture's.

For all of you tough guys that think this Is stupid, tell me why the hunting show's edit the part's out of shot when the animal Is dieing and kicking???? It's called respect once again! No one needs to see it, It looks bad thus they take that part out of It. I can't believe all of you jumping on the OP for saying what he's saying.

I 100% agree with Stealthy.

Some of the photos I've seen lately are absolutely a disgrace to the animal, the hunt and yourselves. Drag it out of the back of the truck onto some grass, maybe a nice background of woods/field, stick the tongue back in the mouth, cover up the blood with your bow maybe, dont straddle the deer PLEASE ........ I mean c'mon it takes another 2 minutes to turn what you took as a crappy photo into one that you can actually be proud of !
Some of the posts I've seen lately are absolutely a disgrace to the poster and everyone else. Put some real thought into it andmaybe pick a topic with some originality.Drag your butt to the computer, maybe grab a nice cup of coffee, stick your tongue back in your mouth, stroke your bow maybe, and dont straddle the mouse PLEASE.......I mean c'mon, it takes another 2 minutes to turn what youmade as a crappy post into one that you can actually be proud of!

There isn't nothing disrespectful when you and I are looking at them. I have no problem with that!!!!!!!! It looks like **** when these same people are out In public (not a hunting forum) showing off there bloody pics to the like's of non hunters.

Are we that insecure we care what non-hunters think? There will always be anti's, and a picture that isn't bloody won't change that. I swear hunters will be the end to thereselves without the anti's even helping. Lets go back to "worry about yourself".

and the last few replies are what is wrong with today's hunting I'm afraid[]

at 39 years old I feel like what hunting was is gone, degraded to the point we can't even take good field photo's -
let me preface what I amabout to say with a quality photo is always the goalfor most guys ..... the definitionis where folks may vary

What's wrong with today's hunting is horn porn and judgemental people!!! Gone are the days of hunting groups standing with their bucks hanging from a pole ....gone are the days where you shot what you wanted without fear of ridicule from some self-righteous jerk ......gone are the days where noone had a camera in the woods and they had to wait until they got home to take a picture of the deer ON the vehicle or hanging from a tree or garage rafters ......

it's people judging people because they don't do things the way that they themselves would do it

This thread is assinine!! Matt's thread was classy ... HUUUUUUUUGE difference!!!!

My thoughts exactly. I love looking at the old pictures that we took when I was a kid when the deer were in a tree, the truck or even half skinned out because we forgot to take the pic...[]

The PC feel good, look good crap that some people demand with hunting is what is killing hunting.$1,000 bow's and guided hunts are killing huning. Pompous jerks telling others what to shoot and how to do it is killing hunting and yes jerks telling others what kind of pic to take is killing hunting.

This kind a crap pukes me to no end![:'(]

This is a little off topic (I don't choose to comment on the topic ):

For all of you tough guys that think this Is stupid, tell me why the hunting show's edit the part's out of shot when the animal Is dieing and kicking???? It's called respect once again!

It's also misleading which is wrongful also. This is especially true for someone not watching just for entertainment purposes. In fact, I don't know how many of us actually watch these shows for pure entertainment. Usually people are hoping to learn something myself included. For example, I have seen a show where a person terrible angle spine shot an animal. After the shot there was a lot of high fiving and the next clip went right to the deer down shot with the hunter standing behind it. I wouldn't call this respecting the animal especially when it could mislead someone into thinking this shot is OK. I admit, I was scratching my head after I saw that.

OK, maybe they respected the animal in that they cleaned it up before the photo sequence, and didn't show it trying to crawl away, the hunter getting out of the stand, and then putting a finishing shot into it, but is that in itself good enough for what was shown or left out?

Them are the people that you and I and everyone else has to Impress. Some day that one non hunter may make a difference If he or she thinks us bow hunters/hunters are respectful people and vote In our favor to keep our hunting/gun rights.
