I'm back for a few days
 

HUNT UPDATE:
Wis bow hunting was a total bust. 17 days hunting, 1 doe spotted!
Minn. rifle hunting. I hunted 11 days. I saw 11 deer. 4 bucks, the rest does and fawns.
I was running short on time so decided to take a smaller 8 pointer yesterday. I stalked up to him at 10:30 am and decided to tag out and head back to get ready for Wis rifle opener. I had some problems with my rifle. I had to open and shut the pump action 3 times before I could get the gun to fire. A very tense few moments. I made a nice shot, I ripped the top of his heart off. I saw 5 moose! I had a red fox by my camp that loved to pose for pics.

I'm trying to finish up processing the deer. I will try to get some pics up later.

Welcome back Magic.Nice to hear from you. Glad you had some action though. That's a lot more than I can say about the first part of my Pa season.[:@]

Sounds like you had a good time in MN though. Good job on the 8 pointer.

Hey sorry I couldn't chat much on the phone today, I was on a blood trail. Not mine either.

You scared the hell out of me right away when you said I forgot to pick up your milk!!! I had to stop and think there for a few seconds and then I recognized the smart ass behind the voice.;);) I'll call you tomorrow.

Wow, that is a rough time. Its been slow here too, but nothing like that. Glad to hear you got one....congrats! Now lets see the pics! :D
