The bottom line is this. If you want the smoothest drawing bow where do you go? Mathews. If you want the fastest bow (which way to many people get caught up in, and mathews realizes this) where will you now be going? Mathews. If you want the shortest ATA bow where do you go? Mathews. If you want the lightest bow where do you go? Mathews.

So theyve got all their alleys covered. Whether you fanboys think they copy or not, theyre gonna sell huge numbers this year so just sit back and watch those other companies keep trying to catch em, because they are still a step ahead this year. As far as the biggest release of 2009 bows, Mathews has the rest beat so far.
Its funny that you think that Mathews came out with "something new" when Elite, BowTech, PSE, and High Country hit those numbers two or three years ago! I guess its the famous "Mathews innovation"

dealers are selling them cheap because everyone is buying bowtechs. mathewssales have been down in the last year or so because they have fallen behindand everyone knows it. Are they still good bows. Well yes but know they are copying others.

Well now someone has done it with quality. Yeah PSE did it. Theirs shoots 348. The new Mathews is 360, so for the speed lovers its an easy choice now.

Of course.... take a PSE X-Force... 6" brace height.... 348fps...

Now take the Monster XLR8 (sounds like a crotch rocket): 5" brace height gives it one more effective inch of draw length/power stroke. For every inch of power stroke/DL you can net usually anywhere between 8-12 fps.... since this is Mathews we are talking about.... we are definately going to use the biggest number.

Lets break the math down....

348fps (X-Force 6 IBO speed)+ 12 fps (one inch effective draw length gain with optimisitc view) and what do you have???? =
*
360 fps

* approx.

You could also have answered correctly by responding.... A PSE X-Force 5 in LOST camo.
