Haha Fingerz... I cant get a glimmer of hope from ya can I :D!!!! Thats what I am guessing also, but I guess only time will tell!! Its way too cold right now for the birds to be on him if hes down, but you can bet ill be checking when the temps go up a tad!!

Also I got your response on the KE thread, thank ya!! I guess we learn something new everyday!! I will jsut run some numbers on the mext bow I get to get the best possible combination out of it before I buy!!

Yep, just check arrow weights to maximize your KE. Easiest way is to increase arrow weight by 20 grains and notice when your KE starts to drop rather than increase. Thats when you know your optimal arrow weight.

Im sorry I aint helping ease your heart, lol. It just seems that he's gonna be dead if you hit where you say you did. I know its disheartening. If it makes you feel any better my brother took a shot on a doe quartering to and he also lost his deer. He knows he should have never taken the shot, but he got caught up in the moment. It happens. Do all you can and thats all you can do.
