RE: Anyone hunting all day in this tomorrow?
Christine, while rainy, it is supposed to be around 60-62 where I am hunting by mid-day, then the temps are supposed to really start getting lower quickly..winds are only supposed to be 10-15 so I think I can hack it. The cold front will push in on Sunday, thereby lowering the average temps by 15 degrees. Looks like a good week of hunting next week.

I'll be out. First day of rifle in VA....my son's been waiting for it. I'm praying the rain will hold off (or at least the heavy rain). Good luck to all...

Ill be joinin ya VA.
Not much for being drenched to the bone either, so Im heading out in my duck waders.
Add in a nice waterproof outerlayer jacket, and I am set to hunt till lunch or so, head out for a sandwich, and head back in for the afternoon.
Rain in the morning wont bother me, its when the dang wind picks up to 20 mph tomorrow afternoon that may send me packing....I HATE excessive winds.

Yes Sir, Just took my shower and all dressed. Heading out in 15 mins. Nothing like taking a shower and putting on dry clothes just to get soaked 5 minutes later. Hey what choice do I have? The deer are not walking through my living room))))

I'm heading out in a little bit but I won't be able to hunt all day due to other activities. Besides, I wouldn't want to take a chance of having the rain wash away all my blood, especially if I put a bad hit on one.
