Using Tarsal Glands

I am wondering how you guys would use the tarsal glands off of a buck. A buddy of mine shot a pretty nice buck last weekend and those glands were strong, really strong. We cut them off and have been keeping them cold so they will last a while. I have never used them before and am wondering what peoples experiences with them are like. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Dan

RE: Using Tarsal Glands

I hear you Droptine, I couldn't get the smell off my hands for days. I can see why they would be useful for drawing one in. I just need to figure out the best why to use them.

I have the glands from the buck I shot last week in the freezer - they will be coming out next week (for rifle season). Use them just like any scent wick.
