How high in the sky do you go
 

How high do you guys normaly hunt.
My ladder is or was 12 foot untill the ladder got stolen yesterday. I plan to go with a climber next season as long as i drop the extra weight.
How high do you climber.
Also if you find a good tree and it has limbs do you cut branchs to get up. What makes for a good tree.

Usually 18 -20 feet.

Depends on each scenario. The 9pt I took this year I was about 7ft off the ground.

I have 6 ladder stands, and there is not one of them that is over 10' tall

With the lock-ons that I have... they are both right around the 15-20ft range. With my climber it depends on the tree because I can range from 12-20ft.

12 and 15 feet are what my stands are other then that I still/stalk hunt.
