To report the Rut is Here:)

I watched 4 does get chased by a nice little buck, WAY out of range. It was pretty cool to see.

Anybody not experienced any rut activity? I think I'm the last one.[8D]

No where I hunt I have seen one buck an awesome 6 pointer. I couldnt post pics because the Memory card in my camera went bad. Im so upset. But ive seen one buck and took him. Since that I havent seen any other bucks except the 3 dead ones on the side of the road.

Nope your not the last one. Our area's rut typically does not begin for at least another 10-15 days and so far this year has been no exception.

I'm starting to see more deer, but no chasing yet. Hopefully its coming.

Arrowed a decent 6 pointer tonight as he scent checked the heck out of a saddle I found during the first week of the season. They are starting to move. I will be back at it Thursday.

I'll let you know after tomorrow night but so far nothing going on here where i hunt in IN. So far all I've seen this year is a small 3pter ,don't know where all the other bucks are .I should be seeing then buy now because they have all the corn out where i hunt.

I do not mean to be boastful, but I have been seeing a lot of rut activity, and I am lucky enough to have chances on a lot of real good bucks. Some that could make Pope and Young. I actually rattled a good 10 pt. in Monday evening that is knocking at 130"s door. I am glad to hear this buckmaster hopefully we can both put down a good one and help our teams cause. Good luck!!!

I still haent seen anything but a buck half heartedly jog with a doe, like he was warmin her up and gettin to know her before the rut [8D], My deer on the cams tarsals are white, while my cousin killed two today with dark tarsals go fig
