I like something more open than Ultimate. I'd prefer something along the RealTree AP patterns. You have a better selection of different types of garments with it too. I also like some of the Skyline patterns and have some of those. For heavy oak leaves or from the ground in big oaks and hickory or beech leaves, Advantage is tough to beat. You must have snow camo for snow. I use some Skyline Horizon for snow, same deal.

Old Realtree in a thicket.

Advantage Pants against the leaves

Skyline Apparition Green

Skyline Apparition. Works great in weeds, treetops without leaves and light backgrounds

Skyline Horizon(for snow)

I also own and like this leafy for trees

I have a lot of camo and more.[&:]

Because deer usually are not looking directly toward your tree, an open pattern like Predator is ideal.

Yup, Ultimate blends in well, if you;re looking directly at the hunter, with a large diameter tree behind the hunter.

However, when you look at that hunter from a side angle, he looks like a dark blob levitating in the air, next to the tree.

With a pattern like Predator Fall Grey- from any angle, the hunter looks like a bunch of branches that lost their leaves.

Cant go wrong !
I concur, I use both Natural Gear and Predator Deception and the deer, turkeys and squirrels look right through ya. I love them both. Just my 2 cents......

I have not heard any one mention this pattern, but I use it exclusively spring and fall. Cabela's Seclusion 3D. It looks real abrassive in a store or magazine, but in the field, the pattern and it's unique way of empahsizing the predominate color of the current environment makes you practically invisible.

Though I love Predator Spring Green, the Fall Gray has fallen from favor with me. Here is Predator FG from Gray Wolf Woolens against a tree, in color:

Natural Gear is the best all around camo I've ever used. Here is a pic. of Wal-mart fusion 3-D in action.
