So now you're wanting to give them the ability to have a soul and a cognizant thought process to go along with the speech? That's a stretch to the original question. Without those things,.....like I said....the words we'd hear are "hungry"...."thirsty"......"sleepy"....."horny ".

And for you...."ouch". But when I step on my dog's foot, by accident, I'm pretty sure the yelp means "ouch" (insert your "cries of pain");).

Depends on whether they spoke english or not. I'd shoot them if they spoke French or German. ;)

I'd have to agree with GMMAT here [shudder]. We can already hear their vocalizations. They don't have much to say because they don't really think about a whole lot.

The day I see a deer not paying attention to me because it's too worried about whether the deer democrats are going take over it's 401K or whether or not it can afford toheat the house and stillsave money for the kids' collegewill be the day I start rethinking my hunting for them.

It would probably be pretty easy to hunt them during the rut.....sort of like breaking up a guy relentlessly hitting on a girl in a bar.....

Big deer:stay away from corn piles.
Young deer: Ihave eaten from the corn pile and nothing bad ever happened.
Young deer:That guy is nice he puts out corn for us
Big Deer:That guy is Jeckyl & Hyde he is nice for part of the year and a killer the other part
Young Deer:He even marked the area with little red flags so we could find the food
Big deer:The red flags are the circle of death, he killed several of our relatives.....

Days later, young deer walks up to corn pile.... whack #23

The tougher question, which is asked to me by my non hunting friend frequently, is "Would you continue to hunt them if they had weapons and could shoot back?"

My reply. "Not with a bow".

I don't know if they can talk, but I'd swear I've heard them laughing at me before.

This is what Disney has brought us too. Talking animals, getting killed by ruthless hunters.What a LOAD OF CRAP. If they could put 2 and 2 together they would be running the world and hunting us.

Animals communicate and I don't think we as humans will never know for sure what they are communicating but to give animals voices like we could talk to them and find out how there kids are is just to far fetched for me.

As for the question Yes I would still hunt them. I'm a MEAT EATER.
