Very nice mount. I've never heard of somebody getting a mount back that fast! I like how he added the piece of tumble weed for realism.
It is pine sap, that was in hisbrowtinewhen I shot him.. He saved it and placed it back on the tine...Don't know if I like it yet. But that is how I found him when he went down. He must have been rubbing that morning...
I know,I saw that in the original pic. That's why I had the smilely.

Wow and I thought my tax was fast. For bucks killed in late Oct, early Nov, I get them back sometime in February.

That's an awesome looking buck Mark!! Congrats!! When I mount something, they go on the wall exactly the way they looked when they were alive. My taxi ticked me off on my buck last year. My buck had a bunch of wood shavings In his antlers from rubbing a tree 1/2 hour before I shot him (I watched him rub the tree). When I got my buck back the shavings were gone, I was pissed!! He got an earful from me!![:@]

Great buck and good looking mount.
That is the same turnaround that or friend that is a taxi has. Right around 6 weeks. I've had a couple done by him and they turned out great. No problems with the cape either.
