Funny thing about that. The last time I was there these deer were coming out where there were NO trees. I moved over my last afternoon and found a similar wash out with a 4 inch tree to rest against. Same deal, cut a couple holes and settled in. I ended up my last night in Ohio that time watch 3 bucks spar at 10-15 yards of me for 10 minutes. All you got to do is watch the wind and almost anything will work. I have more fun with something like thiis than a classic climb a tree to 20 feet and wait. First thing my nephew said this year, you always seem to find a hole to hide in. LOL
