RE: Finally, success
Wow, really nice buck and a good story. Personally I love spot and stalk ground hunting. That badboy is wide....sure looks wider than 19
Now you teased us twice with the story. 1st.... you said you scored him but didn't add it up. Come on buddy we wanna know???????
2nd...... can you tell us what kind of BH you were useing? Was he full broadside or slightly quartering to you?

Damn Dave. Solid, Solid deer.
I'd have definitely overestimated his width. If I saw that buck on the hoof, I'd have called him 21 inches all day.
Great looking deer. You deserve it bro. You and Rybo were laying theSMACKdown yesterday. I was about 5' away from joining in that party. LOL Ugh.

I'm shooting 68lbs at 28.5 inch draw. Perfectly broadside, I got about 6 inches of penetration at 8 yards.[>:]There was NO bloodtrail. I just happened to see where he headed and walked right up on him. The BH did its job, but good grief.....at 8 yards I could have killed that buck with my potato gun.
