2nd...... can you tell us what kind of BH you were useing? Was he full broadside or slightly quartering to you?

I'd have definitely overestimated his width. If I saw that buck on the hoof, I'd have called him 21 inches all day.

I need to add them up again but I came up with roughly 122 right now. I was using an Aftershock Archery Hypershock 125. This is my first year using them and the first animal I shot with one.



I'm shooting 68lbs at 28.5 inch draw. Perfectly broadside, I got about 6 inches of penetration at 8 yards.[>:]There was NO bloodtrail. I just happened to see where he headed and walked right up on him. The BH did its job, but good grief.....at 8 yards I could have killed that buck with my potato gun.

I would have guessed in the 130's on that buck. Great buck either way.

I just noticed the double throat patch. I think he will score a little more than 122". Of course I thought when I first saw him he was 20-21" wide.
