You're right too, some guys think that experience is how long you've been a member here or how much you post when it really has nothing to do with anything. When I was testing the Rage BH extensivley last year,I shotone into dirt and all of the blades broke offjust in plain dirt with no rocks. I guess it comes down to the fact that guys are going to use whatever BH they want until they learn their lesson thehard way. [/ul]

They dont have nothing in comman. All it was doing is proving the durability of the head. Pushing it to the limit to see witch one broke and witch one penetrated with the blades still on it. It was not saying that a deer is like a steel drum.

My Rage 2 blade fell apart in my hand cause the roll pin pinched and fell out after one deer.
But i still like this head none the less, rage has changed the design a bit now i see the newer ones with a different pin. |

You think the people who made the grim reaper blades are stupid????
I'm sure they divised countless experiments until they found the perfect one where their blades outperformed all others by a land slide. Objective evidence does not come in the form of advertising...consider that when you're watching all commercials! That said...any broadhead will kill a deer, and perhaps a steel drum. It's just a matter of what aspects of performance you prioritize above others --tom |

you don't have to shoot a steel barrel to have your rage heads end up looking like that. mind did on a doe. blades were nowhere to be found.

So THAT is why I shouldnt shoot my rages. Hmmmmm, Yep I can see that I need to change heads now because it didnt blow through that steel drum. Are you kidding me? Who gives a sheet whether it can go through a damn steel drum..? I dont plan on shooting steel drums nor do I plan on shooting deer that stand behind a steel drum, (SO I SHOULD BE OKAY.)
