3 years ago during gun season I had a group of 5 bucks come out chasing one hot doe. I could tell one of the bucks was past his prime and was very old. He was blind in one eye and I'm pretty sure he was deaf too. I took him over two other larger racked bucks. I'm still very please with that call as the winter was rough that year and I don't think he could have survived that winter.
