Sportsmen for Obama

I am voting for Obama. I know where he stands on issues. I agree with him. I know where McCain stands on issues and I disagree with his view. I respect McCain, but feel he is not fit to be president. I am disappointed in the many people on this site, not because they are voting one way or another, but because they are proud to disrespect a presidential candidate. saying they are scared of his name, race, ect. Obama is an intelligent well rounded person. Not some muslim terrorist looking to steal your guns and turn the U.S. socialist. I know I'm outnumbered here but my point is not to sway voters...it is to change attitudes. Words are like arrows once they leave the strings you can't get them back.

YOUR FREAKING KIDDING RIGHT? You've been living with the Geico Cavemen haven't you? Because you obviously have not done any research on the matter. Boy does Obama have you fooled. The man is EVERYTHING that is wrong with this country but yet sheep like you will follow him over the cliff. I feel so sorry for you.

What about your attitude? Possibly it needs to be changed? Possibly, you need more life experience before trying to change others attitudes. Think about it.

As a teacher, I'd have thought you'd not be so naive, and you'd have researched a little. Obama IS a huge RED FLAG and his associations with people like Ayers and Wright tend to make me believe he IS worse than many of us are assuming. Combine that with his VOTING RECORD, which tells a much different story than all of his empty promises, I have a hard time understanding why any working person who LOVES AMERICA would ever consider voting for him. As a teacher, I'm sure the NEA has told you who you SHOULD vote for and like many teachers I know, you probably listened, rather than looking at the candidate and the issues at hand. Quite sad really that 99% of the voters are ignorant to what they are really voting for.

Ever since Obama started strong in the primaries, I was pretty much in awe as how a man of his background, culture, experience, and tie's, could evenremotely be in the position he is in right now.

Here is a great article that, IMO, tells what's happening in Election 2008.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/chi-oped1021byrneoct21,0,5375401.story

Regardless of who you vote for, please vote... and please vote wisely.. not on a "feel good" notion but because he's about to be in the highest position in the United States.

RE: Sportsmen for Obama

I dont agree with anything Obama stands for. Ex. Spread the Wealth Why should I work my butt of to pay for someone else. :eek:Call it what you want he has socialist (toned down version of communists) views, which seem to have never worked. He has NO experience at all. He has spent 147 days in office, I spent 172 days in school last year. He wants the biggest promotion he can get after such little time in Congress.

People think the president is the one we should be voting for to fix everything, wrong there that would be you congress, which has been by Dems for the last two years, which most will say is when the decline started, so lets all blame the Republicans. He is a flip flopper on gun rights and likes to sit neutrally in the middle of issues on the fence, why not make a decision.

I may not be old enough to vote, but I have become emmersed in this election, and how someone can be so persuasive and pull the wool over the eyes of millions of voters, after all of the negative contacts he has made, his dangerous remarks, and his policies, I have no idea how he is gonna win. BTW he could help end this war early, but has chosen to make him self look better in office than for the better interest of our Troops.

So you apparently are one of the sheep that follow the crowed. It would be nice if you voted on issues. No worries, you will learn the issues the hard way, that is if Obama gets in office. Which appears might happen due to peoples lack of will to read about the candidates issues.

I hope you enjoy the Hoovernomics Obama is going to impose, with a good dash of Carternomics. It amazes me how people never learn from history. Or I guess some just never bothered to learn in the first place.

Socialism????? ARE YOU SERIOUS!!...

McCain wants to buy up all the bad homes, bail out the banks, and you think obama is socialist???

Capitalism at its finest is to let the system fail and pick up the pieces with better, more organized, way of business...The republicans have failed for 8 years...time for some1 else to try...Yes we see how conservative they are and how good they were at saving money for this country. If you want to throw money around you might as well do it in this country in my opinion.

Ive never been a democrat or republican. Im a registered independant. I vote for who will help the county best, not help me best.

If anyone votes for Obama, they are basically saying they do not give a damn about our country. Look at his record and then look at Mcain's.

Anyone ignorant enough to vote for Obama is basically saying, "Hey look at me. I am a media ho too".

I don't usually get in on the politics, but just for everyone's information, we're not just voting for a president here, there's a good chance when tonight is all said and done, we will have a democrat controlled Senate, HOR, President, and eventually supreme court justices. That, my friends, is where you will really begin to see the changes, and I'm betting they won't be for the better.

What....you mean having one group of people controling an entire country without any checks and balances is a bad thing?;) Look at all the succesfull countries who have done that before.
U.S.S.R.
1930's Germany
Iraq
1930's Italy
Some outstanding countries there.
