Well he went about 150 yards and actually I shot my doe in September during the early archery season. I am considering getting another doe tag to be in the woods again this year.

Good job Dave! you said you wanted to harvest that deer and stuck with it and it paid off. and if i were u id definitely get that 2nd tag, youre still seeing deer

Just saw this thread and I wanted to drop in and say congrats. You will never ever forget your first buck. My first buck is smaller than that and he is on my wall between two P&Y's. I'm just as proud if not more proud of that little 6. I hope you've thought about getting him mounted. Again, congratulations!
