Best of luck this week Greg. I will be trying out the long sits between bedding areas this week. The bucks are starting to cruise so I feel this is a good time to sit for a long time. I will be packing a days worth of food/water on at least 3 days this week. Here we go!

Great tip Greg,

Here's another one even for you LOL. I'll give you a reason to carry a small bottle of scent eliminator spray even if you don't use it on yourself. Use it on your treestands that have moving parts like the seat. Spray down the bolts or areas the rub against each other and it'll silence them. I do this on my hang ons that stay in the weather. I check them when I arrive in the stand and if they squeek, I spray them down and they are golden for the sit without scent. :D

I read this when I got home this afternoon and while I was sitting on my stand I noticed the seat squeeked when I flipped it up.

Good reminder for every one.The smallest details are the difference between taking an animal and watching it bound away.
I always raise my tree stand seats slowly.(Now)
