A few rubs!
Here is a few rubs I found in my area. I thought I would share. This first couple of pictures are of a rub I noticed a couple of days ago and boy does this guy have some aggression. The third picture is a rub just 10 yards away, and wasn't there yesterday evening when I was hunting. The fourth picture is from a completely different smaller buck, and it appears to be reworked from last year.

RE: A few rubs!
I don't know if you guys would be but, I was pretty stoked to see these in my area I hunt. How would you guys treat these? So far I have decided to not touch anything around them.

I would find out why they are there..where are they coming from and going to? Just because 3 rubs are big and one is not does not mean a smaller deer...it could mean big boy picked a smaller tree.

RE: A few rubs!
well based on trail cam photos I have came to the conclusion that the first three pics (2 different rubs) are from the same deer because they are in a line and close together. They are also right in between a soy been field and some clear-cut. I am guessing that he is bedding down somewhere around that clear-cut. The last rub is some 100 yards away and I have snapped a pic of a small 6pt. in that area. You are right it is possible that the same buck is making all three. I am almost positive that the big 8pt. I spotted is making at least that first and second rub. I spotted what I thought was a scrape today as well and covered it up with some leaves so I can be sure. There was limbs above it but, couldn't tell if they had altered in some way.

Kind of sounds like a rub line in the works to me. Get on that thing and hunt the trail these rubs are on If the wind favors it.
