WHich stand should i sit in
 

wind is blowing sout @ 10-20 mph, field just combined today, stand 1 & 2 are in the woods, stands 3,4,5 are on edge of cornfield, which should i sit in

What kind of stands? with the wind blowing 20mph, i would try to stay in the woods more. I also would prefer not to be 30 feet in the air with the wind blowing hard.

1 or 2 Like jklink said youll be more out of the wind that way. It also depends which way your stands are facing.

#5 will put you closest to the cut corn and have the least chance of being winded. If I were hunting that piece for the pre-rut I'd definately have a stand in each of the two corners of the big timber jutting out into the cornfield. One for either a north or south wind.
