Anybody switch up an all day sit?

I've got a spot that's always been hot, early (place I've taken my '06 and '07 8-pointers). I've also got a spot that I think will be hot....but I don't wanna chance busting every deer in the county out, going in under the cover of darkness.

So my plan for next week is to walkt to the morning spot......hunt 'til about 9:15 or so ('06 buck was killed at 8:15....'07 buck was killed at 7:05)....then walk home.....get the ATV....and head over to the other spot for the rest of the day.

Anybody do anything similar?

If you can do it on NC and see deer, then it sounds like a great plan. Here in OH i have never seen a deer after 1030 or soo and before 4 when in the woods.

Sometimes I'll sit in one spot ALL day. Sometimes I switch anywhere from 930-1100 for the afternoon sit. This year I am even thinking of sitting to 9, going to a midday spot, them coming back about 1.5 hrs before dark to my original stand. Last year showed, no midday movement there, but the morning & eves were dynamite.

I have one spot I can usually see good movement from around 8am till around 2pm then I jump in the truck and drive a couple of miles and get ready for the evening sit. Both spots are pretty good evening spots but the first is definately a better morning spot(late morning).
