Best Blind for Bowhunting???

Hey guys,

I've been doing a bit of research on ground blinds. I will be bowhunting turkeys this spring and looking to buy a new one.

Budget is a concern but let me know what you have, likes/dislikes, and what will be the next one you buy.

Also, do you shot your mechanicals through the mesh or not?

Thanks,
-Millpond

I hunt out of an old Double bull T5 pro staffer and love it....I do shoot my mechanicals through the screen (I practiced this before heading into the field) and have taken several animals this way.....I know not all mech's are created equal, so test yours prior to heading afield.....That's just what I have and have been pleased with it but I know there are a lot of other newer one's on the market that are good buy's also!!!!! Good luck with it, ground blind hunting is a lot of fun!!!!!

Ameristep G20

It is a little small but managable for the price. Under $100.00
But you can look at the one that cost just a bit more and get a larger one under $200.00

All those double bull and stuff cost way too much IMO.

Double Bull. If you want the best like you said, get the DB. End of story.

I bought this one at Scheels. The pattern is called Advantage MAX-1 HD Open Terrain. Deer just walk by like it is not there, unlike my other blind. SRM

That actually looks pretty sweet, what's the name of the blind?

If you like the Double Bull, but it's over your budget, check out the Ground Max Deluxe blind. They go for a little over $100. I recently purchased the new one exclusive to Cabela's. It uses the Predator Deception pattern and it's awesome for around $150. Plenty of room and it's an all around great blind for the price.
