had a cool encounter this weeked
 

well been hunting all weeked, passed on a few small does...nothing i wanted to take, but did see a basket rack 8 pt. chasing a doe sunday morning. well to get to the story...sitting in the same stand sunday night i had mamma doe and her 2 button bucks walking up a logging road right towards me feeding. as im watching and their getting closer i notice something special about one of the button bucks. he was piebald! it looked like he was wearing a white vest. from his shoulders to his hind legs and few spots on his head, i was so shocked and amazed that at one point i could have taken him down. i never thought i would see something like that. i really hope nobody get hims during gun season. i figured i would share just because i thought it was so cool, anybody seen a deer like that before? i dont know how common they are, but it sure had me excitied.

Very cool. I've never seen a piebald in the field..A farmer down the road from mesays there is one that has been in his beans the last 2 summers. I'd love to see one/harvest one, as long as its not a bb..
