RE: southern illinois buck activity

I have not Seen much buck activity in my area which is east and north of peoria... I think they are still pretty nocturnal. I have however had luck with my first deer coming into scent, it was a button buck that came in to investigate my tinks trophy buck urine, and tinks super lure. I also have been spraying my scent bombs with acron scent. I think this cold weather should be bringing them out soon... but for the time being it sucks because I have found one good sides rub, and a good sized scrape at my hunting spot and a few small rubs, but when I pass it or my dad passes it we never see any deer with horns... So I do not know... it seems like the centeral part of illinois is having a pretty slow prerut, or at least in my part...
