RE: Need bino's suggestion
I also vote for Nikon - I have the Monarch Dream Season 8x36 binos and they are very clear and very compact, perfect for bow hunting.

RE: Need bino's suggestion
You know I have a pair of Elite Bino's that retail right around 1000.00.. Same quality as some Zeiss and Swarovski (though not all)... Anyway, they sit in my safe.. lol I have a lower end pair of Bushnells that usually go to the deer woods with me. I just don't need it because between my bow and my slug gun and I really don't shoot that far and I hunt hardwoods..
So I think it depends on your style of hunting.. But I would say the Nikon or Bushnell in that price range would serve you well.. |
RE: Need bino's suggestion
Nikon 8x42 ATBs get my vote as well.

RE: Need bino's suggestion
One word, Vortex.
More specifically the 8.5x50 Vultures...They retail for 320, but you can buy a "blemished" set for 159 from cameralandny.com I did and I literally can NOT find the blemish, supposedly there is a black looking scuff in the coyote tan rubberized finish and the factory was going to trash 1000 of them, so this dealer bought the entire lot. I thought they would be bulky, but these are actually smaller sized than my previous 8x42 bushnells, they are just built compact even though they are 50mm for gathering light. Anything 40 and up will suffice though. They still have lifetime warranty, and I honestly feel this is the best deal going in optics right now until they run out. This is much cheaper than what someone sponsored by vortex can even get them for...trust me, i checked into it and know, lol. If you dont want these then my next suggestion would be nikons, they were great quality as well, and i almost bought them but found this deal for vortex binos that was 1/2 the price. |
