im new to all this.......
 

can anyone explain to me y i am having so much trouble shooting a deer for the first time my husband is getting me into the bow hunting i have been for the last 3 years and igot3 differentdeer into the sight of the gun and i start shaking and cant pull the triggeram i just the type of person that is not gonna be able to do it lol or anyone have any suggestions for me

Trust me, you will be able to shoot a deer with gun or bow. Take deep breaths, fight to slow your heart rate down and concentrate on your target. Think of the deer as nothing more than a target. By the way, if you ever lose your excitement over the chance to shoot a big game animal its time think why you are hunting.

Welcome to Huntingnet and it is called buck fever! The more experiences you have the more you can and need to condition the nerves and adrenaline to handle the situation....best of luck and get more time in the stand....I used to have to look away, think about my practices shot procedure and take some deep breaths when I was younger and that helped greatly.

Awe hang in there, take a deep breath and just calm yourself!!!! It will come, you will learn to breath and stay calm...Best of luck to you this fall!!! I mean, don't get me wrong I still get that feeling but you have to control it...I don't know that there is a secret but I know Idon't want to ever not get excited when I see deer...
