How old of a buck Is he LT?
I am rough estimating 4yrs old Steve.

That would make a huge difference on him coming back to that spot or not If he saw or smelled you. Who says he even seen you? He could of been looking right through you.
I really never got any indication that he smelled or saw me. No weird reactions at all. I had a lot of back cover and some really good camo, so I would have to agree he may have stared right thru me. What made him leave is a mystery that only he knows the answer to. The more I think about it, the less I believe I hurt my chances. He will be back when the does are hot.

If he saw you and being he's 4 years old like you think you might want to relocate just a little bit, kind of like Jeff did.

If you don't believe he did, I'd say stay there. Up to you bud!! Tough call.[>:]

Good hearing from you, It's been a while!

I'm hoping to find the answer to this question myself this weekend. Had that experience last Sat night. My stand gave a little squeek and he trotted off into the brush, no other reaction. If the forecast is right, I'll be able to set up on the opposite side of the trail tomorrow.
