RE: Let's hear how you stay warm on stand,

Under Armor cold weather long sleeve shirt, 2 pairs of sweatpants, 2 sweatshirts, thick socks, outer layer pants and coat. Rubber boots keep my feet warm. They are 1200 gram. I also have a hand warmer that you buckle around your waist. I still wear some thin gloves, but this really keeps my hands toasty. I also usually keep my hat off until I really start to get cold. Otherwise, I tend to sweat pretty easily. I believe that your head is almost the "thermostat" of your body. You can usually warm yourself up or cool yourself off by your dome.

My best piece of equipment is my fleece had warmer tube. It's just a tube that straps around your waste. I pack it up with about four hand warmers, i don't even need gloves.
Absolutely one of the best pieces of equip you can own. ditto! If you can find the handwarmer tubes that are angled, somewhat like shallow "V", they are easier on your wrists. I know as I have both. I don't wear a glove on the release hand.

I bungee my coat to my tree stand on the way in to my stand. I also love using a hand muff with a couple of hand warmers thown in. When it's really cold I'll use a heavy face mask.

keep your neck warm!!!!!!

all the blood in your body passes thru your neck at one point so if its warm, you will be warmer for sure........also wear a boot that is 2 sizes bigger than what you usually wear, that way you can pile on socks and your foot wont get constricted blood flow, making you warmer

and for the final tip! lol keep your wrists hidden where the cuff and glove meet, this area will get cold quickly and the coldness will spread, so try to pull your gloves up over the cuff or vice versa

I wear my rubber boots in the snow brotha, Wool socks is the only way to go. Cotton is designed to keep you cool...

End of story. I just keep something moving, usually my toes in my boots, that way it will stimulate circulation and its not visable, and if Im really jonesing it I'll stand up and do a few Squats. Do about 10 and you'll be warm.

Trust me.

Just be careful.... Seriously.

Ryan.
