Looking at the topography (the rock) in the picture and the fact that you stated you don' see too many deer that size, I am guessing this deer resides in the eastern portion of the hill country?

If so, I am going to assume that the deer body size for that area tends to run a little smaller when compared to South Texas orthe Panhandleand certainly smaller when compared to the Midwest. Is this correct?

So based on my above assumption, I am thinking 150" give or take 5 inches.

Regardless, he is a definite shooter and mature deer, IMO. Good luck in getting him.

Jim, Thats the best deer we have seen on that property yet but he was also passed on a couple times last year during the rifle season by a couple of our member's....I am starting to see where the "let em go let em grow" is starting to pay off.....All the pic's that we have of him are at the feed site's so they are all at night naturally.....Maybe we will get a crack at him in the daylight during the rut!!!!

No idea on TX deer. They always fool me.....but I'd say 4.5 at least.

I got 159".....and I'd say I was a tad conservative. I'll go with 160".
My same exact score as well!

I'll say he's a 4.5 but like Jeff said Texas deer suck aging!!!
