Stand Location Advice

Hey guys I need some advice on stand location. I have been given a ladder stand that I'm putting up today. The spot I have been using with my climber is a good spot it's in the middle of an island on the edge of an odd shaped field. It has good cover and I've seen some deer out of it. But it seems the deer are using a different route and are going into a grove that's about 75 yards away. I plan to hunt Saturday. The ladder stand is easy to put up. It's assembled in my truck right now. Also, it is to rain tonight all day and evening tomorrow and then be clear on Saturday morning. I figure if I'm putting up a stand now is the best time. The question is do I put it up where I have been using my climber or put it up in the grove? The climber location is the blue dot and the new spot is in red. The deer seem to funnel into the grove in the mornings and evenings. I had been hoping to get one to come by the island and havent had too many do that yet. My biggest issue is that the island spot is really well covered with good lanes. I don't know if I will be able to get such a good spot in the grove.

Thanks

RE: Stand Location Advice

Since you can already hunt the one spot with the climber, put the ladder in the other so you have options.
