Hunting in the rain good or bad?
 
So this weekends forecast for where im at says rain the whole weekend, just wanted to know if the deer will be moving in the rain and if hunting will still be good or not. Any opinions would be helpful

I wouldn't be worring about the deer moving but if you shoot a deer the rain will wash away your bloodtrail

I think as long as it's not a steady rain deer will be moving. Just make sure you put that arrow right where it needs to be because if not, well, you got quite a tracking job (or lack thereof)if the blood is washed away.

Rain is both good and bad. It is good cause it gets the deer moving and it is bad cause it will was the blood trail away.

It seems like a heavy rain - particularly if accompanied by wind - will hole them up, and then they come out right after it quits. But a light drizzle seems to keep them moving all day long.

Right before, or right after a weather system movesthrough, is a great time to be in the woods.
