Tonight's hunt(Vid)
 

The only day that my best friend has off work is onWednesdays. We decided to tag team the upper corner of a freshly cut bean field. This is the corner where Rob and I saw the piebald and I was sitting in the same stand that I passed a smallish 8 last Thursday.

As we walked in we saw the back hoe parked 1/3 of the way up the field and thought nothing of it. The farmer was just finishing up cutting accross the road. I honestly thought that he would be back for it tomorrow, he decided to fire it up after my big nanny that I have been after was out in the field feeding our way. I didn't have the camera running at the time, but they hightailed it. In the video,you can see them looking down the field at him. I saw one other lone deer at dark sneak in behind me in the woods, no shot.

Well they came back in the cut bean field then aye?

Damn'd if we didn't talk about the farmer coming in for the backhoe.....

Ya they are gonna be there awhile, thereare beans everywhere.[8D]

Ya he did. I couldn't see from my angle. Mike said that the deer just watched him get dropped off in a pick up and then when he fired it up they ran to the lower corning below me. (I was in ourstand)

Well tomorrow evening there won't be a backhoe...lol

Thanks duke, I actually have three double hung sets, and a ladder for Mikearound this field including my prized Walnut Set. I love hunting there, it's my first year with this property and there is more to it, I can't wait to get time to dig in this offseason.
