Deer in field question!!
 

Ok I went out this evening and had a couple of does flirting with my shooting range right at 50 yrds. Never would come closer than 48 and in the low light did not feel comfortable with that shot. So I tried to wait them out and it got really dark and they were still within 100 yrds of me. Had to get down. I got out of the stand without them seeing where I came down from, but they had to hear me walking out the field edge just in the timber and saw movement. Will this happening spook them off or will they be back on schedule tomorrow? Always see deer in this stand.

They should be back unless they keep getting spooked in that area. Spooking them once or twice after dark isn't a big deal.

The area I hunt is basically a 40 acre field, and I've spooked them many times getting to my stand and getting down.

Plus I think it helps that they are very use to humans as this is almost 100 yrds off a neighborhood street.
