I saw a link on here about a year ago that told you how to make your own. They all seem about the same to me. Tracer I think uses a magnet on your riser to trigger the light. I never really cared for that. Luminock seems to be as good as any. It is pretty easy to find around here.

I understand many don't like Luminocks. I've had marginal luck with Tracers. The first one failed me, I believe because of the KE of the bow and large dia. arrows. They sent me a new one.

Here's a little tutorial I did on the Tracer. It lit 50% of the time but that was the one that failed. I haven't played with the new one they sent me except to turn it on and then off.

I use one but, I think it can be a bad thing aswell. I learned the hard way that you have to stay focused on you shot. You can't try to see the arrow fly. It looks cool but trying to see it will make you move your bow prematurely. At least, that is what happened to me.

I shot a deer on Monday with a Firenock. I shot him early in the afternoon and stayed in the stand until dark. It was a complete pass thru. The nock was still lit 2 hours later. I went home and cleaned the arrow up and shot it 5 times. Not one failure and they are bright! I am very impressed with them!

Firenocks are the best nocks I have used yet to date. Have tired lumenoks, tracers, but the firenocks out perform all of them
