Congrats on the buck, like they said, hunt for you and your family, not for some illusion of trophy. And sounds like you have a great, understanding family. Sounds like you need to get your wife out there with her bow and get more meat for the freezer. And judging by the picture of your boy, I'd say he's too young to really have an impact on whether he hunts or not. I have the same fear of my daughter, but I try to take her with me every time she's willing. Start 'em young probably helps I bet.
Oh, and I'm not sure how hunting is back East but out West where I am I only know 1-2 people that got there bucks this year. Usually I know of at least 10 guys and gals who tag out so definately good you got one down. Good job!
