this pic shows all the teeth from the 1stpre molar to the last (3dr) molar. The teeth you want to concentrate mostly on are the 3rd premolar(tooth#3) and the 1st molar(4thtooth). When you look at the 3rd premolar is it sharp or rounded? Does the amount of dentine(brown) on the lingual crest(side closest to the tounge which is the far side in this pic) equal the enamel on the first molar, narrower on the second and 3rdmolar?

Can anyone tell me what they think now just from looking at those 2 teeth?

This is the very reason I let my taxidermist look at them and determine age for me. He sees more deer jaws in a year than I see in 5.

Hazarding a very amateur guess, I'll say 5.5.

I'd guess 2.5 maybe 3.5.

After looking at the pictures a little more, I'd lean with 3.5.

Would it not matter where this deer was harvested from? What he's been eating?

The teeth came from this deer. I shot her Saturday and was the single largest doe I have ever seen in PA. She was "dry" , had a head like a horse (Biggest head I've ever seen on a doe in 23yrs of bowhunting)
In my turck bed her head was tucked into the upper corner of the bed and her feet still stuck out to the edge of the open tailgate.

For scale remember I'm a touch over 6'3" and 235lbs......and I could barely get her to the edge of the cornfield to field dress her.(with Rob's help! and some of these guys have seen me drag deer.LOL)
She was one of 3 does myself, Ben andTimshot on the same night. Mine dwarfed the other 2 and the smallest of them was Tim's and the only one of the 3 with milk.

Does that change anyone's opinions or is everyone going to stick to their guns??

I Already haveDan's expert evaluation to the question and the results ARE interesting.
